Silence.Somewhere in between the day and night, The silence gives my sense a fright. It roams, soft and mighty, through the air, Looks back at me when I stare. Trudges through the streets I walk,Silence.
Follows me to threaten and to stalk. The silence shakes me gently from my sleep, Lingers, teases, urges me to keep The emptiness and fear my heart has learnt to bear; The eeriness that silence makes me wear. And silence seeps through me as I try to fight, Try to send this gloominess back to the night.

His eyes black as coals.
If we play very quiet, my lamb,
Mary never has to know.
I really appreciate it!
